A Solo Show in Asia
Hong Kong is uniquely positioned as Asia’s leading arts hub, hosting a series of major international events throughout ‘Super March’. This diverse range of global practices will significantly enhance the artistic landscape of the city.
Proudly Filipina, Proudly Pacita

Art Basel Hong Kong presents “Encounters,” one of its many sectors this year, featuring 18 large-scale installations by artists from around the globe. Among the highlights is the late Pacita Abad from the Philippines, a renowned artist celebrated for her larger-than-life pieces that convey significant socio-political themes. Her works in this exhibition represent ambitious explorations of iconographies and techniques from the Global South, making them a focal point of the month-long event. Beyond Art Basel, her creations can also be viewed at Silverlens and Tina Kim Gallery.
A Father-Son Effort

This year’s Art Basel will feature a significant Filipino influence, highlighted by the works of Soler and Luis Antonio Santos, who will be showcasing their pieces through The Drawing Room, a Manila-based gallery.
